Minneapolis, MN [January 26, 2026] – Fitness On Demand, a global leader in digital fitness innovation, has updated its real-time heart rate training experience to include more gamification options, personalized feedback, and effort-based rewards called FIT Points.

The update marks another step forward in Fitness On Demand’s commitment to continuously enhance the omnifitness experience, giving people more ways to stay engaged, connected and motivated throughout their fitness journey.

Built around the member experience, the latest evolution of the Fitness On Demand app helps users better understand their effort and progress by providing live performance tracking, personalized insights and effort-based rewards. By connecting seamlessly with members’ wearable devices, it turns every workout, whether in a club or on the go, into a more motivating and measurable experience.

“People expect more from their gym than just access to equipment. They want insight, recognition and to see the results of their hard work,” said Andy Peat, CEO of Fitness On Demand. “Our recent updates deliver exactly that: real-time feedback, performance tracking and data-driven motivation that make every workout more personal and rewarding, wherever they choose to train.”

The new heart rate training experience gives members an engaging visual display of their effort and progress, both on their smartwatch and in-club screens. Through color-coded heart rate zones, FIT Points scoring, and in-app rewards, members can see their performance in real time, creating fun, competitive and measurable motivation.

Core features include:

• Real-time heart rate tracking: Color-coded heart rate data viewable on smartwatch and in-gym displays for instant feedback and friendly fitness competitions.
• Effort-based FIT Points: Earn FIT Points based on the time spent in any given heart rate zone. The higher the intensity, the more points earned!

• In-app rewards and challenges: Track daily or lifetime points and use heart rate data in club-wide challenges to drive consistency and motivation.
• Workout logging anywhere: Track activity and progress both inside and outside the gym for a fully connected experience.
• Wearable compatibility: Use the Fitness On Demand Watch App for upgraded heart rate tracking, available on both Android and iOS devices

For fitness operators, this adds measurable value to their member experience by enhancing motivation, engagement and retention using the devices and wearables members already have – no expensive, proprietary hardware is needed. Fitness On Demand integrates seamlessly with existing wearables, offering clubs an accessible, cost-free way to bring more personalized training to their members.

“We’re continuing to redefine connected fitness with something that’s accessible, intuitive and built around the user,” explained Peat. “By continually improving our omnifitness platform, we’re helping operators create more engaging and rewarding fitness environments, all while eliminating the friction and cost of traditional systems.”

Fitness On Demand’s new heart rate training experience strengthens the company’s commitment to meaningful innovation and accessible fitness while delivering measurable results for operators. It is available free to all customers through March, then priced at $50 per month beginning in April.

“We’re excited to be empowering members with data that inspires progress, while giving operators the tools to deliver a more connected, elevated and motivating experience from the gym floor into everyday life.” added Peat.
